About the producer

Broccardo is a family-run winery located in Monforte d’Alba and managed today by Filippo, Laura and Federica Broccardo. They decided to collect everything that has been handed down from their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents: a great sense of appreciation for the land and the use of vineyard work techniques that always respect the land. The vinification process is focused on the purity of each wine, preserving the fruity sensations, without altering the features of the wines.

The vineyards are located in three of the most popular areas of the Langhe suited to the production of Barolo wine – Monforte d’Alba, Barolo and Novello. Vineyards cover about 7 acres facing south and southwest. The composition of the soil and where the vines are planted, is characterized by clay, tuff, sand and silt left by the withdrawal of the Padano Sea around 16 million years ago: the alternation of these layers gives these wines excellent finesse, structure and elegance. The wine cellar is located in Monforte d’Alba, which from 2014 is recognised a Unesco patrimony.
