Tasting note
Unlike many producers who make their Saint Joseph Blanc from a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne, Pierre Gaillard's Saint Joseph Blanc is made from 100% Roussanne. Pierre believes that this brings greater complexity and richness to his wines: lots of honeysuckle, white peach, apricot, and minerality all along.
Food pairing
This delicious example of wines that come from this appellation will have what it takes the match a flavourful classic rich dish like a Hearty Tartiflette from Savoie!
