“Located in Rosey, in a charming medieval village, 3 km from Givry, in the Chalonnaise coast, Maison Géraldine Louise was started by Geraldine Lochet in 201. After two courses in viticulture and oenology in Beaune, Géraldine Lochet untook 10 harvests in the Côte Chalonnaise at Château Cary Potet in Buxy where she learnt her skills that she applies to her winemaking today. Her ambition then lead her to the Côte de Beaune, to the Colin estate in Chassagne-Montrachet, where, as cellar master, for 7 years, she was responsible for monitoring the development of the wines in the cellar.
In 2016 Géraldine embarked on her own project. She began by buying Chardonnay and Pinot Noir musts and grapes from wine growers whom she trusted on the quality of their terroirs, cultivation practices and commitment. The care given to her micro-cuvées reflects the expression of her winemaking and allows her create “hand-stitched” wines.
