Description
The vines have an average age of 35 years and the vineyards are cultivated with great care with only a minimum of chemical treatments are applied. The Bessons follow lutte raisonnée in the vineyards and harvest the Grand Crus manually. The wines are fermented in temperature-controlled vats and then Besson uses a small percentage of oak for some cuvées, just to impart a touch of roundness to the finished wines. Just 5% vinified in used oak for 8 months; the rest is vinified in stainless steel
Tasting note
