About the wine
50 year old vines grown on sandy soils with galets. Red clay sub soil. Destemmed, then vinified in cement vats. Natural yeasts. Rémontage and délestage. Cuvaison lasts 28 days. Aged for 15 months in twelve-year-old oak foudres.
This wine has a beautiful red cinnabar color with red Nacarat reflections. The nose is elegant, thin, dominated by sweet spices, liquorice stick with some notes of verbena associated with plum liquor. The mouth is unctuous, voluptuous on a very elegant tannic structure dominated by raspberry liqueur with notes of garrigues flavours.
