About the producer

As one of the oldest Grandes Marques, Champagne Deutz has been making their distinctive, carefully crafted Champagnes in Aÿ, Vallée de la Marne, since 1838. With Marc Hoellinger now at the helm (former Moët & Chandon CCO), Deutz continues its tradition of producing wines characterised by their finesse, elegance and complexity. The house owns vineyards in some of the finest sites of Champagne and works closely with its grape growers to ensure quality and authenticity. Their special cuvées ‘William Deutz’ and ‘Amour de Deutz’ are testaments to the house’s meticulous winemaking and patience.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate (robertparker.com):

Open and expressive, the latest NV Brut Classic from Deutz offers up aromas of green pear, peach, pastry cream and flowers. Medium to full-bodied and fleshy but precise, it's elegant and charming, with a seamless profile and considerable immediate appeal. (William Kelley) Points: 90. Issue Date: 30/04/2020

Tim Atkin (timatkin.com):

Deutz produces wines at the more elegant end of the spectrum, expressing finesse rather than power and concentration. This is floral and well balanced, with flavours of nut, digestive biscuit and stone fruit, a supple mousse and a well balanced, refreshing finish. Points 92. Date Published 14/05/2014
